Do you love working with children, exploring science, and bringing creative ideas to life?

Prep Academy Tutors North Austin is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable instructor to lead an exciting, hands-on STEM enrichment program at a private elementary school in the Bee Cave / Southwest Austin area.

You don't need to be a science expert! Our program features prepared activities and engaging lessons designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

This is a great opportunity for educators, college students, after-school program instructors, camp counselors, and anyone passionate about helping children learn through discovery.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging, hands-on STEM activities for elementary students.
• Guide fun science experiments, engineering challenges, and creative projects.
• Use provided curriculum and lesson plans to deliver interactive learning experiences.
• Encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and curiosity.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment.
• Assist with classroom setup, materials, and cleanup.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Enthusiasm for science, creativity, and hands-on learning.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A patient, energetic, and engaging personality.
• Reliable transportation to the Bee Cave/Southwest Austin area.
• Consistent availability Wednesday afternoons.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Bonus qualifications (not required):

• Teaching, tutoring, or after-school enrichment experience.
• College coursework in education, science, engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with STEM clubs, summer camps, robotics, or children's workshops.
