Internship - Cancer Research Program at CU Anschutz
Through the University of Colorado Cancer Center's Cancer Research Experience for Undergraduates (CREU) program, every summer 25 college undergraduate students are given the opportunity to spend ten weeks in our laboratories at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. CREU is supported by R25CA240122 and the University of Colorado Cancer Center.
The goal of the program is to engage scientific curiosity in the next generation of scientists, challenging qualified college undergraduates to consider a cancer-related career in the future.
An additional 10 students will be selected for funding through the American Cancer Society’s (SURF) Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship mechanism. The application process is the same as for CREU.
Current college or university undergraduates are eligible to apply. High school students who have been accepted to a college or university for the 2027-2028 academic year are not eligible for CREU in 2027.
For questions about this program, contact Kate Hoch, Program Coordinator, at CREU@cuanschutz.edu.
***Applications can ONLY be submitted via the CREU Program application, NOT on Handshake. Handshake applications will not be reviewed.
