Year Round Swim Instructor Indoor Pool

British Swim School of South Orlando is hiring part-time Swim Instructors for our new Lake Nona location! Join a supportive team teaching water safety and swimming skills in a warm, indoor pool.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week. Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability required.
Location: Lake Nona, Orlando, FL
Position: Year-round, part-time

Responsibilities:
• Teach students ages 3 months through adulthood using the British Swim School curriculum.
• Lead small-group and private lessons focused on water safety, stroke development, and confidence.
• Adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs.
• Keep students engaged and supervised throughout lessons.
• Encourage students and communicate progress to families.
• Set up teaching tools and safety equipment before lessons.
• Review class rosters and student notes.
• Sanitize shared equipment and return supplies to storage after each shift.
• Keep the pool deck clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Immediately report incidents, injuries, or concerns to the Aquatics Manager.

Qualifications:
• Energetic, dependable, and confident working with young children.
• Patient, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable in the water and willing to complete paid training.
• Previous teaching or experience working with children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard certification, or willingness to obtain these through us.
• Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
