Tech/Junior Machinist

Tech/Junior MachinistLocation: Draper, UTShift: Monday–Thursday, 4x10s, approximately 5:30 AM–3:30 PM

We are seeking an entry-level/Junior Machinist to support machine shop and R&D/prototype operations. The ideal candidate will have basic machining experience and be comfortable using measurement tools and general shop equipment. Training and shadowing will be provided.

Responsibilities and Requirements:- Looking for entry-level/junior machine shop experience.- Manual mill and manual lathe experience is preferred.- Must be comfortable with basic measurement tools – calipers, micrometers, and at minimum a tape measure.- Experience with general shop equipment such as band saws/table saws is helpful.- Trade school/machining school candidates are welcome.- Basic machining experience is preferred but not mandatory.- Materials are mainly stainless steel and aluminum; no significant exotic-material experience is required.- Work is primarily R&D/prototype, with some production work and many one-off/small-batch components.- Training and shadowing will be provided.
