We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (Moderate/Severe) in the Fairfield, CA area to support students with significant learning, behavioral, developmental, and adaptive needs in a K–12 school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining IEPs and required documentation
- Collaborating with General Education teachers, SLPs, OTs, paraprofessionals, administrators and families
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instruction to meet individual student needs
- Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Active California Education Specialist Teaching Credential required
- School-based Special Education experience required/preferred
