Mechanical Engineer / Electrochemical Systems

Brooklyn Army Terminal, Brooklyn, NY

Part time, up to 20 hours per week | Potential to grow into a full time role

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

EcoLogic Solutions is an award winning clean tech company based at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. Our

ECA technology uses salt, water and electricity to produce hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and sodium

hydroxide (NaOH) for applications across food processing, agriculture, healthcare, hospitality and other

industries. We are looking for a curious, practical engineer who enjoys working directly with equipment

and wants to help advance cleaner chemistry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Rebuild, refurbish, troubleshoot and maintain ECA equipment, including pumps, valves, electrodes,

membranes, sensors and power supplies.

• Help improve equipment reliability, operating efficiency and preventive maintenance procedures.

• Test and document HOCl and NaOH output, including pH, free available chlorine, conductivity and other

relevant quality measures.

• Investigate equipment or solution quality problems, document repairs and help standardize testing and

service procedures.

• Support equipment prototyping, new technology development and field service as needed.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Engineering students, graduate students, recent graduates or experienced technical professionals.

• A background in mechanical, electrical, chemical, mechatronics or related engineering, or comparable

hands on experience.

• Comfort with mechanical troubleshooting, fluid handling, electrical basics and measurement instruments.

• Interest in electrochemistry, water treatment, chemical quality control and environmental innovation.

Prior ECA experience is a plus, not a requirement.

WHY JOIN ECOLOGIC

Gain meaningful hands on experience across engineering, chemistry and manufacturing while working

with a growing NYC clean tech company. The position starts at up to 20 hours per week and may develop

into a full time opportunity.
