Entry Level Therapist/ABA Technician
Job description:
Behavior Change Success and Denise Wright Licensed Behavior Analyst PLLC is an agency that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our supportive, inclusive culture helps every individual reach their highest potential.
We are seeking entry level psychology or social work (or related field) students, or recent graduates interested in learning Applied Behavior Analysis and working with the Autistic population. We are looking for compassionate individuals with a passion for working in the helping profession. Our agency is willing to train the right candidates.
Some specific schedules and locations:
The hours are primarily after-school and weekends. Most of our cases are located in Nassau County.
We are flexible but Therapists must be reliable.
Responsibilities:
-Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
-Implement programs written by the case supervisor
-Assist in foresting autonomy with dignity and respect
-Complete case documentation
-Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
-Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
-Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
