About Us:

GELATO PIQUE is a renowned Japanese loungewear and home goods brand known for its signature soft fabrics and iconic collection collaborations. We are seeking a creative, outgoing, and detail-oriented team member to join our New York store team.

 

Role Overview:

We are looking for a versatile Sales & SNS Content Associate who can deliver excellent customer service on the sales floor while helping bring our brand to life on social media. In this role, you will engage with customers, support store operations, and regularly create engaging short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) to drive store traffic and customer engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. In-Store Sales & Customer Service

  • Provide warm, attentive customer service and share product knowledge with store visitors.
  • Assist with retail sales, fitting room management, and cashier transactions.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor neat and appealing.
  • Build relationships with regular customers and support special store promotions/events.

 

2. Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, film, and edit daily/weekly short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) showcasing new arrivals, styling tips, and store life.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and audio to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.
  • Support in-store digital marketing initiatives (e.g., photo zones, event coverage).

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Passion for fashion, retail, and customer service.
  • Experience or strong interest in short-form video editing and social media creation (CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok).
  • Strong communication skills and an outgoing, friendly demeanor.
  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and weekdays based on store needs.
  • Fluency in English (Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required).
