The Orchards at Canterbury on the Lake is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. Help residents improve their independence, participate in daily activities, and work toward meaningful functional goals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and according to established treatment plans.- Assist residents with activities of daily living, therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and functional mobility.- Monitor resident responses and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.- Complete timely, accurate treatment documentation.- Collaborate with nursing staff and the rehabilitation team to support resident care.- Educate residents and caregivers on recommended techniques and equipment.

**Qualifications:**

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.- Current Michigan license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.- Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
