Veterinary Assistant

Care Veterinary ServicesMillington, MIExpanding fast - looking for dedicated, client focused Veterinary AssistantAbout our practice:

Located in a growing community in Michigan's Thumb region, we are a patient‑centric veterinary clinic committed to exceptional care and continuous improvement. Our clinic is busy, expanding, and focused on maintaining a highly educated team trained in the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. We prioritize client education and empower pet owners with informed choices for their pet's health. Because we understand how important it is for clients to trust who cares for their pets, we strive to set ourselves apart as the premier choice for veterinary care.

Care Veterinary Services is proud to serve a rural farming community that still carries a welcoming, small‑town feel. Located just 15 miles from the vibrant and unique town of Frankenmuth, MI, our clinic provides high‑quality veterinary medicine and meaningful client education for both small‑animal and equine owners.

Established in April 2019, our facility is modern, inviting, and fully equipped with updated technology, including digital radiography (in‑clinic and mobile), full in‑house blood analysis, surgical equipment, dental equipment for both equine and small animals, ultrasound, and more.

Care Veterinary Services was founded by Dr. Amanda Hergenreder (Owner, DVM), who recognized a gap in the level of compassion, communication, and client support offered in many clinics. She built Care on the belief that exceptional veterinary medicine can be accessible to any budget when paired with strong client education and a team dedicated to truly caring.

We are a busy and rapidly growing practice eager to expand our Care Team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping a modern approach to veterinary medicine - one that prioritizes patient care, client education, and strengthening the bond between pets and their owners. With a compassionate, well‑trained team, we focus on delivering feasible, high‑quality medicine for clients of all financial backgrounds.

As our new Veterinary Assistant, you will work alongside our Veterinary Technicians, Receptionists, and Veterinarians to deliver a whole‑pet, team‑based approach to care, including client education and offering informed choices for recommended procedures.
