Emerson Coleman Fellowship
Behind every television show is a team turning ideas into stories audiences want to watch. From developing content and writing scripts to producing programs and building an audience, television offers exciting opportunities for creative storytellers.
What is the Emerson Coleman Fellowship?
The Emerson Coleman Fellowship (ECF) is a four-month, hybrid training program that prepares students for careers in television programming and production. Hosted by the NAB Leadership Foundation, the fellowship combines industry training, mentorship and a paid internship at a partner television station.
Named in honor of longtime Hearst Television programming executive Emerson Coleman, the program helps fellows build professional skills, gain hands-on experience and make industry connections.
