Freelance Video Editor
Virtual Routes, a London-based NGO working on cybersecurity and international security, is looking for a freelance video editor to help complete a series of educational video lectures featuring world-leading experts on cybersecurity, military history, and international relations.
The work involves editing talking-head lectures with slides, diagrams, text animations, and simple graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro (no After Effects needed!).
Footage and sound are already synchronised, pre-edited, and colour-graded. You'll receive the Premiere Pro projects, all necessary media files, and examples of previously completed lectures, including graphics that can be reused or adapted.
You'll work alongside our in-house media producer, a documentary director at HFF Munich, who will provide editorial guidance and support.
Practical details:
- £27/hour, freelance
- Approximately 17 hours of lecture material across six courses
- Remote work, with occasional visits to our Clerkenwell/Shoreditch office to collect footage
- Good command of Premiere Pro required; no cybersecurity expertise necessary
- Reference lecture available upon request
Students and recent graduates are welcome to apply!
Interested? Send a short introduction, examples of your editing work, and your availability to: office@virtual-routes.org
Best wishes,
