Marketing Coordinator
ABOUT MORNING BOOST MARKETING
Morning Boost Marketing is a full-service local marketing agency built on a simple belief: businesses grow stronger when they're deeply connected to the communities they serve. We partner with quick-service restaurant franchisees, multi-unit operators, and growing brands to bring national standards to life at the local level — through events, PR, social media, content, and creative that feel genuine, energetic, and community-minded.
We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated team member who wants hands-on experience across every corner of the marketing world — from event activations to social content to press outreach — while working alongside a small, close-knit team that treats every teammate like part of the family.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll keep the behind-the-scenes work of a boutique agency running smoothly — supporting our team on client campaigns, events, and day-to-day operations. This is a full-time, hybrid role (40 hours per week). Most work is done remotely, with in-person time for team meetings and on-site support at client events. We're looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience in a full-time professional environment who knows how to manage their time, communicate clearly, and stay on top of details while working remotely.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide administrative and project support to the team, including scheduling, tracking deadlines, and keeping project files organized
• Help coordinate logistics for restaurant grand openings, events, and activations — vendor communication, supply lists, signage, and timelines
• Prepare event recaps, campaign reports, and presentations using Canva and Google Workspace
• Organize and maintain creative assets, client files, and shared drives
• Conduct research to support public relations, influencer outreach, and local market initiatives
• Assist with social media content scheduling and posting
• Provide on-site support at client events and attend in-person team meetings
• Take on general administrative tasks as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3–5 years of experience in a full-time professional environment
• Agency or remote/hybrid work experience preferred
• Background in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field a plus
• Strong written communication skills and close attention to detail
• Proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
• Organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines at once
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with minimal day-to-day supervision
• A genuine, energetic, can-do attitude — someone who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
• Based in the Maryland/DC area, with reliable transportation for on-site events
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
• Schedule: full-time, 40 hours per week, with consistent days and hours set with the team
• Flexibility: occasional evening and weekend availability for client events
• Format: hybrid — primarily remote, with in-person team meetings and on-site event support
• Compensation: $27 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
