Middle School Science Teacher
Middle School Science Teacher – Grades 5–8
We are seeking a Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 5–8 and serve as the Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher. Homeroom responsibilities are light and include attendance, announcements, and general student support.
Responsibilities
- Teach science to students in Grades 5–8
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Incorporate experiments, projects, and hands-on activities when appropriate
- Assess student progress and provide additional support as needed
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment
- Serve as Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Degree or coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, or another science-related field preferred
- Basic understanding of middle school science concepts
- Previous teaching or experience working with students preferred
- Teaching license preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
