Your Team, Your Impact

As a part of the Multimarket Business Group, the System Engineering Hardware team is responsible for developing silicon validation board (EVB) and customer reference design board (CRB) for products ranging from compute processors, CXL accelerators, Security controllers as well as custom SoCs. Engineers on the team lead board design from concept through silicon validation by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.

 

What You Can Expect

  • Collaborate with system design engineers throughout the design, review, bring-up, and validation of hardware platforms.
  • Perform hands-on lab testing and debugging to identify and resolve board-level issues.
  • Customize and validate FPGA logic for evaluation board control and system enablement.
  • Review hardware schematics and PCB layouts to support design quality and functionality.
  • Support hardware and software bring-up activities for internal development and customer systems.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028
  • Strong foundation in digital circuit design and analysis
  • Experience with embedded programming using C
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting fundamentals
  • Understanding of industry-standard communication protocols such as I2C and SPI
  • Exposure to FPGA/RTL design, including simulation, synthesis, implementation, and verification
