Social Services Worker 2

We have a vacancy in our Children and Adult Protective Services Unit for a full-time caseworker (Social Services Worker 2). The primary purpose of this position is to investigate claims of abuse and neglect of children and/or older adults (i.e., intake) and/or maintain a caseload of children/families and/or older adults who have previously been determined to require the protective assistance services of the agency (i.e., ongoing). Prepares child and/or older adult related cases for court. Meets procedural deadlines governing the management of social services cases set by the State of Ohio and ensures that documentation is complete and accurate. Participates in legal action to establish legal guardianship in cases related to older adults. Serves as an on-call social services worker on a rotating basis with other social services workers.
