Trading Internship Program NYC & Houston Summer 2027

The Energy Trading Internship is an opportunity designed to give high-potential students firsthand exposure to energy trading and commodity markets. Available in Houston and New York City the internship allows participants to rotate across Natural Gas, Power, Crude Oil, and Physical markets while working alongside experienced traders and portfolio managers.

Throughout the program, interns gain practical experience analyzing market fundamentals, supply and demand, pricing dynamics, and quantitative data. They support traders through market research, real-time analytics, scenario analysis, and the development of tools to identify market opportunities and assess risk. The rotational structure provides exposure to both financial and physical aspects of the energy markets, helping interns understand how trading decisions are developed and executed.

The program is designed to provide a rigorous introduction to energy trading, strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills, and give participants meaningful insight into the pace, responsibility, and opportunities of a career in the industry.
