Supervised Visitation Specialist

We are looking for full-time and/or part-time employees at Clark County Department of Job & Family Services in the Family & Children Services division. Availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. is a must. This employee provides supervised visitation to families. Works with the family during visits, modeling effective parent/child interaction, based on the model adopted by the Agency. May attend family meetings. May make recommendation for assessment and evaluation of family
interactions when concerns arise, in accordance with Agency guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a diverse population of children and families

Preferred Qualifications:

•Successful completion of at least two (2) courses in a human services field (social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, child development)
•Familiarity with the visitation process and/or laws that govern child protective services work 

•Competent with computers and technology
