Social Media & Campus Growth Intern

Social Media & Campus Growth Intern

Location: South Florida / Hybrid
Schedule: Part-time Internship, 10–20 hours per week
Company: SFT Group / Shuffle Hub

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, highly motivated Social Media & Campus Growth Intern to help build the digital presence and university community around our emerging technology brands.

This is a hands-on role for a student who understands social media, enjoys creating content, follows digital culture and trends, and is comfortable connecting with student organizations and other students on campus.

The intern will help manage corporate social media accounts, create and coordinate content, engage with online communities, and serve as a campus ambassador for Shuffle Hub, our new social discovery platform.

This is not an internship where you will simply observe. You will have an opportunity to contribute directly to the early growth of a technology platform and help shape how it is introduced to university communities.

Responsibilities

You will work with our team on activities including:

Help manage and grow company social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and other relevant channels.

Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.

Create, edit and publish short-form content, graphics, posts, stories and other social media material.

Identify relevant social trends, conversations, creators and content opportunities.

Help develop creative campaigns designed to increase awareness and engagement.

Engage with followers and help build active online communities.

Monitor basic social media performance and recommend ways to improve engagement and reach.

Coordinate outreach to student clubs, organizations, creators and campus communities.

Help organize Shuffle Hub beta-testing sessions and campus activations.

Serve as a campus ambassador for Shuffle Hub and introduce the platform to relevant student communities.

Develop relationships with gaming, esports, creator, music, media, marketing, entrepreneurship and other student organizations.

Help identify student creators and campus leaders who may be interested in participating in future Shuffle programs.

Gather structured feedback from students and communicate insights to the product and marketing teams.

Assist with special marketing, creator and community-growth projects as needed.

Who We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in students who:

Are currently enrolled at a South Florida college or university.

Have a strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and contemporary social media culture.

Enjoy creating content and communicating online.

Are outgoing and comfortable meeting new people and communicating with student organizations.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Are organized, dependable and able to work independently.

Understand what types of content resonate with college students.

Are interested in technology, social media, creator culture, marketing, entrepreneurship or digital commerce.

Experience running a social media account, student organization, creator account, campus event or marketing campaign is helpful, but not required.

Students studying marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, media, business, entrepreneurship or related fields are encouraged to apply, although we welcome applicants from any major.

What You'll Gain

This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience across:

Social media strategy

Content creation

Brand development

Campus marketing

Community building

Creator partnerships

Grassroots user acquisition

Event activation

Product beta testing and user feedback

Early-stage technology company operations

You'll work directly with the team building the platform and have the opportunity to see how a technology product moves from beta testing into broader market adoption.

About Shuffle Hub

Shuffle Hub is an emerging social discovery platform being built around content, communities, creators, live experiences and shared interests.

We are beginning controlled beta testing with students and other early users in South Florida. Our goal is to work closely with early communities, listen to their feedback and use those insights to improve the product before broader expansion.

Time Commitment

Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility around class schedules.

Some work can be completed remotely, while campus outreach, beta-testing sessions and activations may require in-person participation.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume through Handshake.

If available, we also encourage applicants to include links to social media accounts, content, projects, student organizations, portfolios or other examples of work that demonstrate creativity, communication or community involvement.

We are looking for students who want to build something, not just watch something being built.
