Position Overview

The Casper Spuds are seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Merchandising & Hospitality Intern to join our organization for the 2027 summer baseball season.

Why Intern with the Casper Spuds?

A successful game day depends on much more than what happens between the lines.

Before fans arrive, merchandise needs to be displayed, concession areas need to be stocked, online orders need to be fulfilled, hospitality spaces need to be prepared, and hundreds of small operational details need to be handled correctly.

As a Merchandising & Hospitality Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience with those behind-the-scenes operations while also interacting directly with the fans who make Spuds Baseball possible.

You'll see how inventory becomes merchandise, merchandise becomes sales, food and beverage operations support the fan experience, and attention to small details can have a major impact on both customer satisfaction and organizational revenue.

Rather than learning sports business only from a classroom, you'll have the opportunity to experience the retail, hospitality, and operational side of a real sports organization throughout an entire summer season.

Whether your goal is to work in professional sports, hospitality, merchandising, retail management, event operations, or sports business, this internship provides an opportunity to develop practical skills in a fast-paced and highly interactive environment.

Application Process

We are looking for interns who are ready to learn the business, serve our fans, stay organized, and help keep Spuds Baseball running behind the scenes.

Applicants should submit a résumé highlighting any relevant experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, food and beverage, inventory, event operations, sports, or other related areas.

Previous sports experience is not required. We are especially interested in applicants who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, initiative, organization, and a willingness to provide an excellent experience for Spuds fans.

We look forward to reviewing your application and introducing you to Spuds Baseball in Casper, Wyoming!
