Assistant Project Manager
DSC Builds is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll engage in every phase of the construction lifecycle, from initial concept and estimating to the final walkthrough.

What You’ll Do
- Project Support: Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling, submittals, RFIs, field coordination, and communication.
- Pre-Construction: Utilize on-screen takeoff, historical cost analysis, and other in-house tools to assist in estimating and budgeting.
- Field Engagement: Work on-site to ensure safety standards (OSHA) are met and quality is maintained with proactive trade coordination.
- Documentation: Master the art of interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project contracts. Actively support project documentation and risk management.
- Growth: Actively participate in team meetings and professional development to prepare for Project Management and Project Engineering roles.

What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Related experience a plus.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), PDF markup tools, Scheduling, Estimating, CAD, Project Management Software, AI Tools and Integration.
- Communication: Clear, professional writing and the ability to speak comfortably with subcontractors and clients.
- Mindset: A proactive and resourceful spirit. You don't need to know every answer, but you must be driven to find them.
- Physicality: Ability to safely navigate active jobsites, climb ladders, and work in the Florida elements.
