Edison Elementary has an immediate opening for a 1st grade teacher. Join an amazing team!  Current class is 18 students because Bristow makes small class sizes a priority. Enjoy four day work weeks in the second semester.

About the Role: You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative team at Edison Elementary, taking on a class of 18 first graders. The school offers four-day work weeks in the second semester.

What you'll do: - Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned to 1st grade curriculum standards - Manage a classroom of 18 students, fostering a positive and structured learning environment - Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians - Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and administration - Participate in school events and professional development

About you: - Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (or graduating this fall) - State teaching certification (or on track to obtain) - Genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners - Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to have: - Prior student teaching or practicum experience with K-2 students - Familiarity with common 1st grade curricula and reading programs
