Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering the academic and social development of elementary/middle school students.

Duties:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to ensure student comprehension

- Provide feedback to students, parents, and administration on student progress

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

- Implement early intervention strategies for students who require additional support

- Utilize experience working with children to create engaging learning experiences

- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment

Skills:

- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students

- Proficiency in integrating technology into lesson plans

- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of diverse learners
