Hospitality & Events Internship Program
Guglielmo Winery is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated winery in Morgan Hill, California, founded in 1925. For more than 100 years, our family has been making wine, welcoming guests, and creating experiences in the Santa Clara Valley.
Our Hospitality & Events Internship Program provides college students with hands-on experience inside a historic family business and working hospitality and events operation.
Interns will have the opportunity to learn how a winery and event venue operates from both the guest-facing and behind-the-scenes perspective. Depending on their interests and experience, interns may participate in hospitality, event management, guest relations, marketing, social media, wine experiences, retail, and event operations.
What You May Experience
Interns may assist with:
- Weddings and private celebrations
- Corporate and community events
- Concerts and special events
- Event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Guest arrival and guest relations
- Event timelines and day-of coordination
- Vendor communication and coordination
- Hospitality and tasting room operations
- Wine experiences and special programs
- Retail and Gift Shop operations
- Marketing and social media content
- Event promotion and communications
- Behind-the-scenes operations of a working winery and event venue
What You Will Learn

Interns will work alongside our team and gain exposure to the planning and execution of events as well as the day-to-day operations of a historic winery, tasting room, retail shop, and event venue.
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome college students interested in hospitality, event management, tourism, business, marketing, communications, public relations, wine, or related fields.
We are looking for individuals who are:

Previous hospitality or event experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
