Medical Assistant 

Vitale Family Health is seeking a caring, dependable Medical Assistant with phlebotomy skills to support our patients and clinical team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a family health setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help prepare them for appointments.
• Take and record vital signs and update patient information.
• Draw blood and collect, label, and prepare specimens for testing.
• Perform basic clinical support tasks within the scope of training and applicable requirements.
• Keep exam rooms and clinical areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Document care accurately and protect patient privacy.
• Support providers and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training or relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required; current certification preferred if required by applicable state or employer policy.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills.
• Ability to follow safety, infection-control, and specimen-handling procedures.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Schedule: Full-time
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Pay: 18HR with room to increase, performance based.
