Undergraduate – Research Intern

Condire Investors is seeking a hard-working undergraduate student for a summer internship in Dallas, TX. The intern will work directly with the professional staff to experience each facet of a growing investment firm. Assignments will be given across all functional areas including research and investment analysis, marketing and operations, as well as other supporting roles. We are looking for bright, well-rounded individuals with good organizational skills. Candidates should be strong self-starters who can excel in a team-based environment. Condire offers a great opportunity for an undergraduate to gain experience at a globally-focused investment firm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist research team on special projects in the following areas:
  • Analyze natural resource projects in industries such as mining, energy and other process industries
  • Evaluate heavy equipment used in natural resource production
  • Conduct industry research, including background and overview work on target sectors such as supply/demand trends, macroeconomic and political factors impacting the industry/sector and competitive analysis
  • Special, ad-hoc research projects
• Juggle multiple, high priority issues in a professional, courteous manner on an ongoing daily basis
• Other general support to the research team

Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate:

• Candidates must be available Summer 2026 to work in the Dallas, Texas office
• Permanent U.S. Work Authorization
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Detail-oriented, organized, and superb time management skills
• Team player with positive attitude and proactive approach to work
• Polished individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Very bright and a quick learner – able to work independently as well as on a team
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in small, dynamic and growing firm

Condire Investors is an investment firm formed in 2012 that focuses on companies in mining, energy and other natural resource based sectors. Our investment team is comprised of former engineers, geologists, and financial analysts, and the staff of ten is based in Dallas, TX.
