Women in Neuroscience Summer Intern
Keep an eye out for when our 2027 summer research application opens during the fall semester!
WiN awards undergraduate students a summer internship in a research or a clinical setting with its partners such as UT Neuroscience or Dell Medical Neurology. Students gain significant knowledge about the fields of neuroscience and neurology, hands-on experience, and personal and professional growth. The internship includes a stipend, allowing interns to dedicate their summer to learning.
Criteria
Must be 18-years-old by internship onboarding start date and enrolled in an undergraduate program. Also must meet one or more of the following:
- From an underserved/under-resourced community.
- First-generation college student.
- Family experiences economic challenges (based on federal poverty guidelines).
- Demonstrate need for a paid internship.
Requirements
- Able to participate in the full internship program.
- Able to spend a minimum of 40 hours per week in the internship (includes weekends).
- Have housing for the entire duration of the internship. (We do not offer housing stipends at this time.)
- Have appropriate visa to attend and participate if not a US citizen/resident.

Due to the use of a blind review process, the resume, unofficial transcripts, and recommendation cannot include identifying information about the applicant.
