Project Management Intern

We are currently recruiting for a Project Management Intern to join our Mendota Heights, MN team!

The program provides you with exposure to day to day activities allowing you to use your knowledge gained through school, challenging you and helping you build your professional experience.

 

Job Summary:  As a Project Management Intern at Permasteelisa North America, you will be will be a key member of a project team challenged by the unique nature of every project we create. If you are the right candidate for this position, you will use your engineering/construction background to assist the Project Manager coordinate the project team and submissions on a designated curtain wall contract or section of a curtain wall contract.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop an understanding of the bid and contract documents (trade contract, scope drawings, specification, exhibits, bid pricing and clarifications).
  2. Assist the Project Manager in coordinating the in-house project team (designers, engineers, production, assembly, site personnel) for the assigned contract or section of a contract.
  3. Assist the Project Manager in the pricing and purchasing of materials, equipment and sub-contracts, ensuring that both budgetary and specified contractual cost, time and quality requirements are met.
  4. Assist the Project Manager in developing, tracking, updating and reporting on the detailed project schedule for design, engineering, mockups, production, and installation activities.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Applicants should be in the process of a degree, or a recent college graduate in Civil, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering field
  2. Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Inventor

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  2. Excellent communication skills

 

Hourly Range: $20.67 - $25.87
