Infant Toddler Teacher- Late Day 3pm-6pm

Seeking a part time late day  infant/toddler teacher.  We are looking for a passionate  teacher who will be responsible for the care and education of infants in our school. In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow. You will also be expected to design and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support their development. We will train the right person in Montessori.

Responsibilities 
• Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of infants 
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn 
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting 
• Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly 
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education 
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom 
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education 
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education

Qualifications

• Working towards, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field 
• experience working with infants and toddlers
• Knowledge of infant and toddler development and care 
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues 
• Patience and ability to handle high-stress situations 
• Certification in Infant and Toddler Care and education. 
• Experience working in a licensed child care facility 
• Strong understanding of child development and early education curriculum 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
