Quality Management Intern Summer 2027
Job Purpose
The Quality Management Intern supports the hospital's Quality Management team. This entry-level role is designed to provide individuals with educational exposure to Quality Management focused work at Bethany Children's Health Center including Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Data Analytics, Performance Reporting, and Accreditation Compliance.

Work Schedule
20-30 hours a week with flexible schedule during business hours Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p, unless otherwise agreed upon by their supervisor. This position is a paid onsite internship and is not eligible for remote work. The internship program begins the first full week of June and concludes at the end of the summer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Quality Improvement & Patient Safety - Support active performance improvement projects; analyze quality and safety trends; assist with event review, and corrective-action follow-up.
- Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance - Support ACHC and CARF readiness; assist with policy and document review; contribute to audit preparation, literature reviews, or other assigned projects.
- Data Analytics & Performance Reporting - Compile and validate performance data; develop or maintain dashboards; prepare summaries for committees and leadership; identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Complete one department-assigned capstone project and present findings and recommendations to department or organizational leadership.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have completed their first year and be currently enrolled in a degree program in Public Health; Healthcare Administration; Nursing; Health Informatics; Business Administration (Healthcare Concentration) ,or another related field
