Content and Social Media Intern

IMAX Creative LLC is a growing e-commerce company that designs and sells consumer products through Amazon and other online channels. We're a small, family-run team that cares about great design, strong branding, and building products customers love.

The Role
We're looking for a creative, organized Social Media Intern to help grow our brand presence and online community. You'll work directly with our leadership team to plan, create, and publish content that showcases our products and connects with customers. This is a hands-on role where your work goes live and you can see its impact.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging posts, Reels, Stories, and short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
  • Photograph and film products in styled, on-brand settings
  • Help plan and maintain a monthly content calendar
  • Write captions and hashtags that match our brand voice
  • Respond to comments and messages and help build an engaged community
  • Research trends, creators, and competitor brands in our product categories
  • Help identify and reach out to potential influencer and UGC partners
  • Track basic performance metrics and share a short monthly recap of what's working

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in marketing, communications, design, or a related field
  • Active, fluent user of Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, with a feel for what makes content shareable
  • Good eye for aesthetics, color, and composition
  • Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar)
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and reliable working remotely; comfortable taking feedback
  • Bonus: experience promoting e-commerce or Amazon products

Details

  • Pay: $15.00/hour
  • Hours: 15–20 hours/week, flexible scheduling
  • Location: Remote; must reside in the United States
  • Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
  • Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Product samples provided for content creation
