Social Media Intern
Move 4 Less is looking for a creative, motivated, and hands-on Social Media Marketing Intern to help us build our local brand and create social media content that gets people to take action.
This is not a role focused simply on gaining followers or posting generic promotional graphics. Our goal is to create content that builds trust, demonstrates our expertise, connects with our local community, and ultimately generates phone calls, quote requests, and booked moves.
The ideal candidate enjoys creating short-form video, telling stories, being around people, and finding interesting content in everyday situations.
What You’ll Do
- Create and publish engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Shoot and edit short-form videos, Reels, and behind-the-scenes content
- Visit moving jobs to capture real footage of our movers, trucks, customers, homes, furniture, and moving processes
- Turn real moving experiences into engaging social media stories
- Create before-and-after content showing transformations such as:
- Empty house → loaded truck
- Packed room → organized boxes
- Old home → new home
- Difficult move → successful completion
- Create customer testimonial videos, customer stories, and post-move content
- Capture Google reviews and turn positive customer feedback into social content
- Develop our “Move of the Week” content series
- Create educational 15–60 second videos answering common moving questions
- Develop local content focused on communities we serve, such as Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, and North Las Vegas
- Create content around moving tips, packing, moving costs, moving scams, furniture protection, and moving preparation
- Introduce customers to the people behind the company through employee spotlights and interviews
- Film content such as:
- “Meet the Mover”
- A Day in the Life of a Mover
- Funny Moving Day Moments
- Loading Techniques
- Truck Preparation
- Team Challenges
- Employee Q&As
- Capture videos demonstrating difficult or impressive moves, such as moving heavy safes, pianos, large sectionals, or furniture through tight spaces
- Identify relevant social media trends and adapt them to the moving industry in a way that supports the brand
- Help develop seasonal campaigns around spring moving season, summer, back-to-school, end-of-month moves, and the holiday season
- Collaborate with realtors, apartment communities, property managers, home organizers, interior designers, and other local businesses to create content
- Help identify local creators and potential collaboration opportunities
- Monitor social media performance and identify which content generates the most engagement, profile visits, calls, quote requests, and leads
