Administrative Intern

Role Description: 

This internship is based at Lone Oak Trust Company’s office in Fort Worth, TX and offers a flexible schedule, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Ideally, the position will be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility based on the candidate’s availability and the needs of the company.

The intern will provide general administrative and operational support to the office and assist team members with a variety of day-to-day tasks and projects. Responsibilities will include supporting office supply ordering and organization, assisting with maintaining the office kitchens, distributing incoming mail throughout the office, and helping with scanning, label making, filing, and other administrative projects.

The intern may also assist with preparing documents and materials, organizing information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting special projects as needed. The role will involve working with multiple members of the team and may provide opportunities to assist with projects related to trust and estate administration, family office services, and family foundation services.

This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment while learning about the operations of an independent trust company and the services it provides to individuals and families.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and present clear summaries.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and accurate data entry skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette and ability to draft concise memos.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including time management and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and take direction from multiple stakeholders.
  • Interest in trust, estate, finance, law, or related fields; coursework in business, finance, accounting, or similar disciplines is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to evolving priorities in a professional setting.
