Looking for an internship that blends agronomy, customer service, and hands-on field experience? As a Sales Agronomy Intern, you’ll support dealers, growers, and our regional agronomy team throughout the summer—gaining real-world exposure to agricultural sales and seed industry operations.

If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and getting out into the field, this role is a great way to explore a future career in ag sales, agronomy, or seed industry leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide in-season customer service to dealers and growers
  • Assist with planting trials for growers, dealers, and Peterson research
  • Support retail locations with seed tenders, plot maintenance, field scouting, signage, and local agronomy needs
  • Work with Regional Agronomists on special projects, including Peterson Advance trials and dealer support plots
  • Assist with seed delivery to dealer and grower customers
  • Jump in where needed to support ongoing sales and agronomy efforts

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Interest in agricultural sales and building customer relationships
  • Background in agronomy or production agriculture
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors
