Operations & Communications Intern

Job Title: Operations & Communications Intern

Company: Circle Stone Capital
Location: Tucson, AZ (hybrid)
Schedule: 10–15 hours per week, flexible around class schedules. At least 5 hours per week on-site, plus 5–10 hours per week remote.
Type: Paid internship, ideal for current college students
Compensation: Paid, discussed during the interview process

About Us

Circle Stone Capital is a Tucson-based real estate investment firm. Our fund invests in residential and commercial properties, and we manage the full lifecycle in-house: acquisition, development, and property management. We also own and operate Tucson GastroPark, a local open air food park and event space.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing internship for a student who wants real exposure to how investments and operations in real estate actually works. You'll be the connecting point between our team, our residents and tenants, our investors, and the Tucson community, both on the ground and online. You'll rotate across every part of the business and leave with a portfolio of real work.

Responsibilities

1. Investor Relations & Marketing

  • Design and distribute investor-facing materials including one-pagers, property updates, quarterly newsletters, magazines, and general investment information.
  • Draft and schedule investor emails and updates for team review.
  • Help maintain investor contact lists and communication records.
  • Create before-and-after content and progress updates on development projects.
  • Help prepare materials for investor meetings and property tours.

2. Property Management

  • Serve as a friendly point of contact for residents and commercial tenants.
  • Log, track, and follow up on maintenance requests and recurring maintenance schedules.
  • Support the leasing process: preparing listings, scheduling showings, organizing applications, and move-in/move-out coordination.
  • Conduct property walk-throughs and photo documentation.
  • Draft resident notices, community updates, and announcements.

3. Property & Leasing Marketing

  • Write and post rental listings for residential and commercial vacancies.
  • Take photos and short videos of properties.
  • Manage social media content for properties and the company.
  • Track which marketing channels bring in leads.

4. Tucson Gastro Park Marketing

  • Help plan, promote, and staff events such as markets, live music, and holiday events.
  • Manage Gastro Park social media and event calendars.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university (University of Arizona, Pima Community College, or similar). Recent graduates are also welcome.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable talking with people, whether they're residents, vendors, or investors
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage your own time with flexible hours
  • Reliable transportation to get to properties around Tucson
  • Experience in creation of marketing/communications materials. (Canva, etc.)

Preferred

  • Studying real estate, business, finance, marketing, communications, hospitality, or urban planning
  • Experience with social media or basic graphic design
  • Customer service, hospitality, or event experience
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
