Growth Marketing Intern, Campus Launch

Company Description Kilobyte Labs is an early-stage software studio in Miami. We're launching a consumer social product this fall and looking for students to lead the launch on their own campus. This is a chance to build something from zero: you'll run the launch on your campus like it's your own startup.

What you'd do

Get people on your campus using the app, in the places they already go. You decide how. We care about the outcome, not the method. You'll work directly with the founders and have real input on how the product launches.

Who we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled, 18 or older
  • You already bring people together: club president, Greek social chair, intramural organizer, RA, event host, or anyone with a group chat people actually read
  • Marketing, communications, or business background is a plus, not a requirement
  • About 5 hours a week

What you get

  • Direct experience launching a consumer product from day one
  • A clear path to a paid, longer-term role for people who perform
  • Real startup experience: you'll own the launch on your campus, make the calls, and see the results of your decisions directly
  • Direct access to the founders, and a front-row seat to how a consumer product gets built and launched
  • Compensation tied to results

How to apply

Email hiring@kilobyte-labs.com with the subject line Campus Growth: [Your Campus] and your resume. Keep it under 200 words and answer three questions:

  1. What group or crowd do you already bring together, and roughly how many people can you reach directly?
  2. Name the three places on your campus where people actually hang out on a weeknight, and why those.
  3. How would you get 25 people at your school to try a new app at the same place, at the same time?

Plus: Include a link to something you've organized or grown: a club Instagram, an event page, anything real.
