**What You’ll Do**

- Help develop, maintain, and support scalable data systems and pipelines for analytics and reporting. 

- Collect data from databases, files, APIs, and other sources, and help automate ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and enrichment. 

- Work with business stakeholders and senior team members to understand requirements and document proposed solutions. 

- Perform data quality checks, investigate inconsistencies, and follow established security, confidentiality, and data governance standards.

 - Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists to prepare reliable datasets for business use. 

- Assist with deploying, monitoring, and improving data pipelines to support efficient and consistent data flow. - Troubleshoot data issues, document findings, and support day-to-day data operations with guidance from experienced engineers.

**What You’ll Bring**

- Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Basic programming skills in Python or a similar language. - An understanding of data transformation, ETL/ELT concepts, and data quality. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. - The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with technical and business teams. - Relevant coursework, academic projects, internships, or equivalent practical experience in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field.

**Helpful Additional Experience**

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with Git, data warehouses, or pipeline orchestration tools. - Projects involving APIs, automated data processing, or large datasets.
