Account Manager

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Account Manager to manage and grow our client portfolio. This is a dual-focus role combining account management and business development — you will be responsible for maintaining and deepening existing client relationships while actively identifying and winning new business opportunities. You will serve as a trusted talent partner to clients, understanding their hiring needs and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions across the technology space.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an existing portfolio of technology clients, building deep and long-lasting relationships
- Conduct regular client meetings, check-ins, and business reviews to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business, culture, hiring needs, and technology landscape
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Ensure a consistently high level of service delivery, acting as a true extension of each client's talent acquisition function
Business Development & New Account Acquisition
- Identify, target, and win new client accounts across the technology sector
- Develop and execute a personal business development strategy to grow the firm's client base
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, and market research
- Present and pitch The Princeton Group's services to prospective clients, including senior HR and technology leaders
- Negotiate terms of business, fee agreements, and service level arrangements with new and existing clients
Recruitment & Delivery
- Provide detailed and accurate job briefs to the delivery team, ensuring alignment on candidate profiles, timelines, and expectations
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for key accounts, including briefing, candidate presentation, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support
- Monitor and manage open roles to ensure timely and quality delivery against client requirements
What We're Looking For
- 2-10 years of experience in recruitment, account management, or business development — ideally within a technology staffing or search firm
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts and hitting revenue targets
- Strong understanding of the technology talent landscape, including roles across infrastructure, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, and data
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A consultative, solutions-oriented approach to client engagement
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Experience working with CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Bachelor's degree preferred
