Haven't graduated yet? No worries! UPMC will hire graduate nurses up to one year in advance of their anticipated graduation date.

Unit Spotlight: 7E Neurology/Oncology

  • 25‑bed Neuro‑Inpatient Chemotherapy unit specializing in Neurology and Oncology care
  • Care for a diverse patient population including strokes, seizures, brain tumors, altered mental status, and post‑craniotomy patients
  • Gain broad experience caring for neurology‑focused and medical‑surgical patients
  • Opportunity to become chemotherapy‑trained after one year, with structured education and ongoing competency training

Schedule

  • Rotating 12‑hour shifts (24/7 coverage) | every other weekend/holiday

Requirements

  • RN/BSN graduate or graduating in 2026/2027
  • RN license or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) at hire
  • Must obtain RN licensure within 6 months of hire or 1 year of graduation
  • BLS/CPR and required PA clearances
