Children's Enrichment Teacher

We are currently expanding our team and looking for instructors who are energetic, encouraging and professional. Our coaches teach PE, sports, dance, gymnastics, yoga, or cheerleading to a variety of age groups from toddlers to elementary students.

Position: Children's Enrichment Teacher

Location: Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas

Type: Part Time (2-15 hours per week)

Schedule: Weekday mornings and/or afternoons *no evenings, weekends, or holiday breaks required

Responsibilities: 

• Lead engaging fitness-based enrichment classes for children (toddler - elementary aged) *curriculum is provided
• Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and promotes a love for physical activity
• Foster a sense of teamwork, discipline and respect among the participants
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during classes
• Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, providing weekly class updates

Requirements:

• High standard of accountability, reliability, honesty and professionalism
• Comfortable teaching a variety of activities and willingness to learn (No experience required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to implement age-appropriate fitness programs and be flexible when necessary
• Passionate about working with children and promoting a healthy lifestyle

Pay:

• $25/class
• $15/hour for training and administrative hours
• Opportunity for performance bonuses
