Job Title: Recent Graduate - Lab Tech Jr.

Location:  Gretna, LA 70053

Duration:  06+ Months

Shift Time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday | 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM

Training Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM. Will be moved to posted schedule once training is complete.

 

Job Description:

  • The individual will be responsible for operating a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS for confirmatory testing in accordance with the SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations for all non-negative test results. 
  • This job also requires the individual to perform some QC duties. 
  • Must possess degree at the Bachelor level. 
  • Degree must be in biology, chemistry, or equivalent related field.
  • Interest or academic exposure to analytical laboratory testing, instrumentation, or QC is a plus.
