Marketing Intern – Content Strategy  

Position Summary 

The Marketing Intern will support the Content Strategy and Brand Marketing teams by creating engaging multimedia content that showcases our products, technology, and customer success stories. This internship is designed for a creative, hands-on storyteller who enjoys filming, editing, and producing digital content that brings our machines, products, and brand to life. 

Working closely with Marketing, Product Management, and subject matter experts, the intern will help develop videos, photography, social media assets, and customer-facing content that supports product launches, brand awareness, customer education, and demand generation efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling and excited to gain real-world experience producing content for a growing industrial and technology-focused business.  

Key Responsibilities 

Content Creation & Production 

  • Film and capture video footage of products, machines, customer applications, employee stories, and marketing events with guidance from the marketing team.. 
  • Edit and produce compelling short- and long-form video content for multiple channels, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and customer presentations. 
  • Create visual content including photography, graphics, animations, and supporting multimedia assets. 
  • Assist with creating product demonstrations, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content. 
  • Organize raw footage, digital assets, project files, and approved final content according to established team processes. 
  • Follow company requirements for safety, privacy, customer permissions, and brand usage when capturing or publishing content. 

Content Strategy Support 

  • Partner with the Brand Marketing team to execute content strategies aligned with company messaging and brand standards. 
  • Help translate product features and customer value propositions into engaging visual content. 
  • Support content planning and content calendars for product launches, campaigns, and ongoing marketing initiatives. 
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and content best practices to identify new storytelling opportunities. 
  • Assist with drafting content briefs and shot lists for assigned projects. 
  • Help track content performance and identify learnings that can inform future content development. 

Brand & Digital Marketing 

  • Ensure all content aligns with established brand guidelines and messaging. 
  • Assist in preparing content for social media, websites, email marketing, and sales enablement materials. 
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, marketers, and product experts to maintain consistency across marketing channels. 
  • Support marketing campaigns by developing creative assets that drive customer engagement. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams to gather content ideas and product knowledge. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative concepts for campaigns and product storytelling. 
  • Support content capture during product launches, customer events, trade shows, and internal activities. 
  • Communicate project status, deadlines, and support needs to the internship manager and project stakeholders. 

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop a portfolio of approved multimedia work that demonstrates video, photography, and/or digital-content skills. 
  • Apply brand standards and B2B messaging to real-world content across multiple marketing channels. 
  • Gain experience collaborating with marketing, product, engineering, sales, and subject matter experts in a professional setting. 
  • Receive regular feedback, coaching, and development support from their manager and team.  

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field. 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience creating video content for school, personal projects, internships, or freelance work. 
  • Familiarity with content creation for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. 
  • Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. 
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Basic photography, videography, and lighting knowledge preferred.
