Client Service Accountant
The Client Service Accountant internship offers exposure to the captive insurance industry and the opportunity to support key accounting and client service functions. You will work alongside our experienced team on diverse projects, gaining hands-on experience in financial statement preparation, audit support, and client relationship fundamentals.
What You Will Do
- Support the preparation of financial statements for captive clients under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Assist with audit materials, documentation, and coordination for annual audits and actuarial reviews.
- Help gather and organize financial information and supporting documentation for reporting purposes.
- Participate in renewal cycle activities, including information gathering, documentation tracking, and materials preparation.
- Work on special projects and analytics to support the captive services team.
- Develop an understanding of GAAP, Statutory, and IFRS financial reporting standards through supervised work.
- Observe client interactions and begin to understand the client service model and relationship-building in the captive industry.
