Crisis Technician Full-Time 3rd Shift

The Crisis Technician provides a supportive and empathic environment for successful resolution of clients’ crisis though crisis intervention counseling and education with program clients. Responsible for providing assistance and teaching daily living skills and psychosocial skills with program clients at the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Will assist with discharge planning and complete all required documentation including discharge summaries for clients when they are leaving the program. Provides coverage for Crisis Hotline Services.

Requirements

• Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate good judgment skills and utilize basic problem-solving skills.
• Able to resolve crisis situations in the most clinically effective manner.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

• High School Diploma required and some experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver license with acceptable driving record.
