## Please Read First: Schedule

This is a full-time, in-office position in McKinney. It's a strong fit for students taking online, evening, or weekend courses, and for anyone finishing a degree while working full-time. We are not able to accommodate weekday class schedules.

## About Us

The Michael Crise Agency is a local Farmers Insurance agency serving families and small businesses in McKinney and across Collin County. We're a small team, which means real responsibility and direct mentorship from day one instead of being a number in a call center.

## The Role

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients. You'll handle day-to-day service requests, keep client records accurate, and support the agency's book of business. No insurance experience required — we train you on the products, the systems, and the industry.

## What You'll Do

- Answer incoming calls, emails, and texts from clients, and resolve or route them
- Process policy changes — adding and removing vehicles or drivers, updating addresses and coverage
- Take first notice of loss on claims and connect clients with the claims team
- Prepare quotes and gather information for new and renewing policies
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
- Handle billing questions, payment reminders, and expiring documents
- Support renewal reviews and proactive client outreach

## What We're Looking For

- Strong verbal and written communication — you're comfortable on the phone
- Organized and detail-oriented; you can juggle several open items without dropping one
- Dependable and punctual, with a consistent full-time weekday schedule
- Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software
- Pursuing or holding a degree in business, marketing, communications, finance, risk management, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

## Licensing — We Pay For It

No insurance license is required to apply.

A Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license is required to advise on coverage and quote policies, and **the agency sponsors it**. We cover the cost of your pre-licensing course and state exam, and provide paid study time to prepare. You'll obtain your license within 90 days of your start date.

This is a real, portable professional credential that stays with you for the rest of your career.

## Compensation & Benefits

- $16.00/hour base salary
- Commission on new policies written
- Strong performers earn $45,000–$65,000 in their first year
- Employer-paid insurance licensing and exam fees
- Paid study time toward licensing
- Direct mentorship from the agency owner

## Why This Job Is Worth Your Time

- Full-time income and stability while you finish your degree on your own schedule
- A licensed, portable credential in a stable industry — paid for by us
- Paid, professional office experience that stands out on a resume
- A clear path to a full-time producer role for the right person
