Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant – Coppell, TX

Day Spring Home Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to support a female client living with ALS in her home in Coppell, Texas.

The client requires assistance with everyday activities while maintaining her independence, dignity, comfort, and preferred routines.

Current coverage needs include:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Some overnight shifts may also be available: 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Applicants may be considered for regular daytime shifts, overnight shifts, or a combination depending on availability.

The caregiver will provide support with:

• Personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathing/washing and personal hygiene
• Dressing and grooming
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Mobility and general assistance around the home
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Observing the client's general wellbeing and reporting any concerns to the appropriate Day Spring supervisor
• Following the client's individualized care plan

The client has dogs in the home, so applicants must be comfortable working around dogs.

• Comfortable around dogs
• Able to communicate effectively with the client, family, and Day Spring team
• Willing to follow the client's established care plan and Day Spring policies

Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, healthcare, or experience supporting individuals with neurological conditions is beneficial, but candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
