Trident Consulting is Hiring For ROW/Utility Permit Coordinator at Thousand Oaks, CA hybrid role

We are looking for a Entry level Utility Permit Coordinator to support utility construction projects and coordinate permits and approvals with cities, counties, Caltrans, and other agencies. 

Job Title: “ROW/Utility Permit Coordinator 
Duration: 12+Month Contract (possible extension)
Pay rate: $26-$35/hr on W2 without benefits 
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91361 (Hybrid Tue& wed in Office) 
Schedule : M-F 07 AM -04:00pm PST

Job Description:

Top Skills / Non-Negotiables:
1. At least one year of utility construction planning, permitting, or related utility experience
2. Ability to read and interpret work order maps, construction drawings, and plans
3. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
success in this role depends heavily on building positive working relationships with permitting agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Work with local agencies (Cities, Counties, Caltrans) to acquire construction permits within public ROW
Responsible for securing permits required for work within the public right-of-way to support the installation, maintenance, and operation of utility facilities.
This role regularly coordinates and communicates with internal departments, government agencies, municipalities, and other external stakeholders to obtain approvals, ensure compliance with permitting requirements, and negotiate favorable permit conditions. 
The position serves as a key liaison throughout the permitting process, helping facilitate timely project execution while maintaining positive working relationships with regulatory and permitting authorities.

Education:

A. High School Diploma or Equivalent
