Spring Internship Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated students and recent graduates in the South Florida area who are interested in joining the Ed Brown Scholars & Fellows Program and gaining hands-on experience in the Thoroughbred racing industry.
Each spring, two Ed Brown Scholars or Fellows are selected for an immersive, paid internship experience at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida, and Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.
Interns gain exposure to multiple areas of racetrack and business operations, including:
- Project Management
- Racing Operations
- Event Management
- Marketing
- Guest Services
- Additional business and operational functions
The internship runs from mid-February through the end of April, with interns spending the first portion of the experience at Gulfstream Park before traveling to Santa Anita Park for the second portion.
This is a paid internship, and travel and lodging expenses associated with the internship are covered.
Due to the extended travel involved, this opportunity is best suited for students enrolled in fully online academic programs, students who have the flexibility to complete coursework while traveling during the spring semester, or December 2026 graduates.
