Spectrum Academy is seeking a caring, flexible, and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team for the current school year.

Our school year is already underway, and we are looking for the right educator to step into an established program and become part of a supportive team serving students with autism and other special learning needs.

Position Responsibilities:

The Intervention Specialist will:

Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals

Implement, and monitor IEPs

Adapt curriculum and instruction for students with varying academic, communication, behavioral, and developmental needs

Track student progress and maintain required special education documentation

Collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, administrators, and families

Help create a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment

Participate in IEP meetings and other student team meetings

Support students in developing academic, communication, social, and independent-living skills

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license or appropriate Ohio teaching credential

Bachelor's degree required

Experience working with students with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Patient, dependable, flexible, and comfortable working with students with a wide range of support needs
