Part-Time Saturday Math Tutor, on-site

We are hiring college students to tutor middle school students in math on Saturday mornings. Sessions focus on math intervention and extension — small-group and that helps students catch up or get ahead.
Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., October 10, 2026 through April 24, 2027
Location: Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Middle School, 6100 Frost Place, Laurel, MD
Pay: $24 per hour

What you will do:

• Tutor middle school students (grades 6-8) in math
• Lead small-group intervention and extension sessions
• Track student progress and communicate with program staff

Who should apply:

• Current undergraduate students majoring in math or a related field (math education, statistics, engineering, etc.)
• An interest in teaching or working with middle school students
• No prior teaching experience required — tutoring or mentoring experience is a plus
